I am a PhD student in Texas majoring in Biblical Interpretation.  Beyond merely reading the Bible, we discuss the implications of our interpretations on questions of social justice, gender, race, international relations, etc.

I’m a single gal trying to get this whole “love” thing figured out.  I’m a work-in-progress when it comes to health and fitness.  I’m a bartender at a restaurant and a dog owner.

This blog is divided into four sections:

The School Stuff:  blogs about what I am reading/writing about for class.  And just general observations about graduate work.

The Dating Life: blogs about my foray into the online dating scene.  There are sure to be some good stories.

The Fitness Chronicles: blogs about my efforts to be healthier and stronger.

The Rest: blogs about any and everything else.  Probably mostly my dog.
